Ladies & Gents I know it’s been too long for a big combo. Having to protect the label sexist, that anyone without brains could have labeled me with, after the generation ΓΑΠ post, I’ve tried hard not to….fap over the series we are introducing for this Sunday on and hopefully for another 5 Sundays to come. It is definitely the most sexist and the sexiest post of Kokdi’s. So I hope both genders to enjoy.

Here you are lads, we’re going to treat you once again with something from the Top100 portfolio; it is strange why we haven’t dealt with today’s band before. With songs like Don’t fear the reaper, veteran of psychic wars, or Metallica covered Astronomy, they have surely earned their place not only in this humble blog but also to rock ‘n’ roll paradise.

Lynyrd Skynyrd: Music Suggestion Of The Day 17/04/2018

Today we still keeping our Top100 List material but we plunge into controversy much deeper than Aero-Trump did yesterday. No one can underrate today’s band. But still, blaming Neil Young for southern atrocities is way senseless. Today’s band surely set the standards for everything dubbed southern (hard) rock, later on.  On the other side with songs like that smell, freebird or simple man, no one could say otherwise; but the strong southern roots and quite often the lyrics impose alien concepts to rock; like woman abuse, the right on bearing arms without serious control and in general one retrograde life perception filled with racial prejudices.

We choose not to strengthen these features of the band’s music, but focus on the sense of freedom, cool travelling throughout never ending landscapes of wild beauty and of course the unimpeded sense of rocking an’ rolling without sounding either bluegrass or country – like, which was expected at first, to say the least.

Aerosmith: Music suggestion Of The Day 16/04/2018

Let us start this new week with a Top100 suggestion. Not my favorite glam rock band (see links below for more sleaze ). Even G’n'R punk-like attitude gives more to the hard rock concept than this, undoubtly, historic band from the US.
Never the less no one should forget gems like the Rocks album, or easily bypass their early 70's releases that were as groundbreaking as KISS were, without being recognized as an all time classic arena rock band. Today’s post is primarily focused on those 4 early 70’s releases maintaining the ranking according to RYM.

Ok, now that we’ve left the sanctity of Easter behind us it is time for our first music suggestion of the year; which is odd that after 4 months the first suggestion of the year is not of rock but jazz origins, and it doesn’t bash people’s head in (much like Cannibal Corpse did), but try to make it easier to understand, to remember or to forget. Γιατί είμαι ΑΕΚ Vol.2

Το έχω ταμένο κάνα 2 χρόνια τώρα αλλά ποιος μπορεί να ζητήσει για πιο κατάλληλη στιγμή από τούτη εδώ που ζούμε φέτος?

Και αν κάποιος πει ότι «τώρα θυμήθηκες?» , να του υπενθυμίσω ότι η αγάπη μας για τον Δικεφαλο, φάνηκε κυρίως τότε που υπάρχουν τα πρώτα κείμενα – εστίες της δικής μας αλήθειας• κυρίως τότε, που το Αεκάκι στα χείλη των αντιπάλων, κέρδιζε και μια κάποια συγκαταβατική συμπάθεια, που δημιουργούνταν αναμφίβολα από το γεγονός ότι κανείς δεν θα ήθελε να βρεθεί στην θέση μας• και για να μην παρεξηγούμαι, κανείς από αυτούς που δεν είχαν κάνει ποτέ την πορεία προς τα κάτω (δηλ το λεγόμενο ποδοσφαιρικό big4). Από τότε γράφαμε λοιπόν στηλιτεύοντας ΜΟΝΟ ΕΜΕΙΣ τον σωτήρα μας (άκουσον – άκουσον) για την απροθυμία του να βάλει τα φράγκα που θα χρειάζονταν προκειμένου να διατηρήσουμε μια αίγλη που ανεπιστρεπτί έχει πλέον τελειώσει, με αποτέλεσμα η Νέα ΑΕΚ να είναι τώρα εκεί που βρίσκεται, με ένα μεγάλο και αναπόδραστο στίγμα στην, έως τότε, ακηλίδωτη ιστορία της.

Και μην βιαστούν κάποιοι γαυροβαζελοβουλγαροι να μιλήσουν για την παράγκα της ΑΕΚ, σαν έννοια κηλίδας, γιατί αν αυτή υπήρξε ποτέ, ούτε εγκλημάτησε εις βάρος κάποιου, αδικώντας τον παράφορα και στερώντας του ό,τι κέρδιζε στο γήπεδο, ενώ, όταν υπήρξε, κατ’ αυτούς που δικαιώνονται για τον 20ετη βιασμό της πραγματικότητας με το πρώτο λάθος σφύριγμα εις βάρος τους, παίκτης – σύμβολο της εποχής, τιμωρήθηκε γιατί απλά παραδέχτηκε την ίδια αλήθεια («έκανα θέατρο και κέρδισα πέναλτι») που μερικά χρόνια αργότερα, άλλης συνομοταξίας οπαδοί, θα την μασκάρευαν σε ΕΤΣΙΘΕΛΙΚΗ εναλλακτική πραγματικότητά της, αναφορικά με τα πέτσινα πέναλτι που σωρηδόν κέρδιζαν (ή καλύτερα κέρδιζαν όταν προέκυπτε η ανάγκη να τα κερδίσουν) γράφοντας, σε οπαδικό μέσο, το αμίμητο: «Τα πόδια ήταν έξω, αλλά η καρδιά ήταν μέσα»• να μην μιλήσουμε από τώρα για καρδιά…..

Wanting to get re – acquainted with the retro database series I was trying to see what was left uncovered. We’ve had Popeye and Tin-Tin, Pink Panther and Lucky Luck, Asterix and Once Upon a time series, Ulysses 31 etc

At the very end I said «wait, I say wait a minute, where darn ol’ Leghorn is, where Duffy, Spike are and above all where is BUGS???? »
