Kyuss: Music Suggestion Of The Day 04/08/2015

Concluding our reference to the best 3 bands spawned in the 90’s, after suggesting firstly Tool (23/02/2015post) and later on Nirvana (22/07/2015post) as my No3, it is no question that the ball finally dropped on KYUSS (ranking #87 of my Top100List) the founders of the term stoner metal…With the dawn of the new decade Kyuss were there to set new (??) flavors to the classic metal approach.

Ripping off Sabbath heaviness mixing it with raw attitude, desert - like manic sounds, awesome bass lines and roughed up but clear vocal growls… with the 2013 resurrection still lingering on, it is time to take a look at their short, but remarkable career through their live performances, throughout the years (resurrection included)
