It seems that we have completely forgotten our obligation to our followers (!!)And that is to provide with Fresh music suggestions, covering a full extend of a year; delivering thus a 365 suggestion list from which EVERY guy/girl with hearing capability can enjoy. From all kinds and genres of what is called Rock music, maybe giving a damn about other significant trendsetters in the music business (classical, swing, jazz, ethnic e.t.c.) We are currently stuck at 259 or so (I guess) music suggestions. Nevertheless this is not happening because we do not hear music; but it is getting all the more difficult to find the time to make a post significant; or at least plain good.
Today’s post is not so hard to explain. American based Romani members joined forces to fuse ska and punk rock into archetypal romani sounds of the Balkans!!And if u think that this is great (and u don’t’ know their case), wait till you hear the first sounds of violin hammering over schizoid tunes of alternative indie pop/rock; or as we like to call it garage of the Balkans. Their astonishing statement: «we came to steal your jobs away» portraying a toilet cleaner is 100% accurate to its goal, discarding with humor and plausibility the main argument of any hillbilly that does not admit that he is, in fact, a bloody racist!!
But enough with the talk; let the «specialists» take over:
«Kultur Shock is
a Seattle-based Gypsy punk band which
specializes in mixing music like rock, metal and punk with traditional Balkan Music [1]. Active since 1996, Kultur Shock combines
Balkan folk music with punk, metal and art rock. Its members hail from Bosnia,
Bulgaria, and the United States. The band has performed over 800 shows
throughout the United States and Europe. Kultur Shock was signed to Bill
Gould's KoolArrow record label from 2001 to 2006 and released three albums for
the label: FUCC the INS, Kultura-Diktatura and We Came to
Take Your Jobs Away. In 2006 the band formed its own label Kultur Shock Records
and publishing company, Kultur Shock Music.
In 2014, Kultur Shock
released IX their ninth album and sixth collaboration with
engineer/producer Jack Endinor. The band defines itself as "a live
band of blue - collar immigrants.»
So ladies and gentlemen it is our great honor to present to you the romani abomination (as most whiteys call them) also known as
